WEDNESDAY WINTER WEATHER LATE STARTS – CLOSINGS

Schools

All Brenham ISD campuses will be closed Wednesday.

Burton ISD schools will be closed Wednesday.

Round Top Carmine classes are cancelled.

Blinn College campuses will open at noon.

Brenham’s First Baptist Church School & Early Education Center will be closed Wednesday.

St. Paul’s Christian Day School will be closed Wednesday.

First Methodist Weekday School will be closed Wednesday.

Grace Lutheran School and Daycare will be closed Wednesday.

Christ Lutheran Day School will be closed on Wednesday.

All Prairie View A&M University campuses will be closed Wednesday.

Bellville ISD schools will be closed Wednesday.

Fayetteville ISD schools will be closed Wednesday.

Sealy ISD schools will be closed Wednesday.

Snook ISD is going to delay start by two hours and start at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Buses will run two hours late.

Giddings ISD schools will delay opening Wednesday by two hours.  Buses will run two hours later than normal.

Dime Box ISD will delay start at 10:00 a.m.

Government

The City of Brenham will have a delayed start Wednesday due to winter weather conditions.
City offices anticipate opening at 1:00pm on Wednesday.  This delayed start affects the following:

City Hall
Municipal Court
Pet Adoption & Animal Services
Blue Bell Aquatic Center
Citizens Collection Station
Brenham Recycling Center
Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library

The Washington County Courthouse and Annex will open at 1:00 PM Wednesday.

Washington County Court at Law has cancelled Misdemeanor court on Wednesday, January 17.

 

Businesses and Organizations

The Margaret Blizzard Senior Activity Center will be closed Wednesday.

Valmont Brenham Structures will resume operations at noon on Wednesday.

Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union will open Wednesday when it is safe to do so.  Check www.bvscu.org/ for more information.

Sealy Mattress will delay start up until 10:00 a.m.
