Washington County Genealogical Society will meet Monday, September 11, 1 pm at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.  Tammy Brauner, District Clerk of Washington County, will present information regarding records and other resources to assist with genealogy research found in the District Clerk’s office.  The public is invited.

James F. Dillon VFW Post 7104 will be having a barbecue chicken and sausage drive-thru meal on Thursday, September 14, from 4:30-6:30 pm, tickets are available from Post and Auxiliary members, Dan’s Meat Market, Felder’s Buy and Bye, Quick Mart, K&M Grocery, Robert’s Service Station and at the Post on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-5:00.

Brenham High School is preparing to host Meet the Teacher on Thursday.  The high school will be open from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday for teachers to visit with students and their families.

Members of The Fortnightly Club of Brenham can pick up their 2023 - 2024 yearbooks at the Nancy Carol Roberts Library on Friday, September 15th from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.  After that date, the yearbooks can be picked up at the Blinn Foundation office, 706 College Ave. from 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.
