Winedale Online Talk “Confederates and Comancheros: Skullduggery and Double Dealing in the Texas-New Mexico Borderlands”. On Tuesday, September 24 at noon, author and historian James Bailey Blackshear will discuss via zoom his book “Confederates and Comancheros”. Focusing on the Texas-New Mexico borderlands in the 1860s and 1870s, his talk will illustrate how central these contested borderlands were to the history of the American West.
