Saint Cecilias presents Acclaimed Axiom Quartet on Ash Wednesday (Round Top)

The popular Music and Meditations Ash Wednesday service returns this year at Saint Cecilia’s Episcopal Church in Round Top on Wednesday, February 18 at 5:45 p.m. The meditative, reflective service weaves music and spoken reflections together as a centering opening to the holy season of Lent. The service, entitled “Until I Rest in Thee, O Lord,” features the renowned Axiom String Quartet from Houston with musical selections from the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, including his Goldberg Variations. The acclaimed Axiom Quartet has performed throughout the world and has earned the admiration and praise of critics and fans alike. The spoken meditations for the service will be presented by Father Bill Miller.
The service is free and open to the public.
