KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Constance Blunt is a native of Brenham, TX. She graduated from Brenham High School in 2003. She then attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science. She later obtained her Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center in Temple, TX. In 2018, she completer her Hematology and Oncology fellowship training at LSU Health Science Center. She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Blunt currently works at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She enjoys treating a variety of cancer types and blood disorders. Dr. Blunt in passionate about women’s oncology, and over half of her practice is treating breast and gynecologic cancers. She is currently serving as the medical director for cancer outreach and prevention. In this role, she educates and brings cancer screenings to medically underserved and black populations in Louisiana.
Dr. Blunt is married to Raymond Blunt, and together, they are raising two beautiful children, Zuri and Kai. She is the proud daughter of Timothy and Margaret Cole and sister to Tim, Jr. and Malik Cole.
