Washington County school kids will get a chance to win a flat screen TV, a remote control helicopter, a bicycle and many other prizes during KWHI’s annual Halloween Party on Saturday night, October 31st.
Teachers in Brenham and Burton schools are passing out KWHI’s brightly colored Halloween Party cards in their classrooms this week. Students are encouraged to fill them out and return them by mail or in person to KWHI’s offices at 223 East Main Street in downtown Brenham. The Party will air on KWHI from 7:00 to 8:30 Halloween Night, with special guest DJ’s calling kids and awarding prizes.
Brenham Tire & Auto is providing the Grand Prize…a new bicycle. T3 Truck ‘n Trailer is giving away a remote control helicopter, and Cash Station Jewelry and Loan is giving away a 23” LED Flat Screen TV. Other prizes include passes to Horseshoe Junction, Ray-Ban Junior sunglasses from TSO, tickets to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, piñatas from La Morales Meat Market, and a $50 Visa Gift Card from LaRoche Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac.
Included on this year’s Halloween Card are special coupons for a free Whataburger with purchase of medium fries and a medium drink, 20% off any purchase at Kwik Kopy Business Center, a free kid’s meal with purchase of an adult meal at Mariachi’s, and 25% off carpet or tile grout cleaning by Colwell’s Chem Dry.
KWHI has been holding its annual Halloween Party for over 50 years to encourage safety during trick or treating, and to get kids home at an early hour.
