SUMMARY:Washington County Republican Club Meeting (Brenham)
DESCRIPTION:The Washington County Republican Club monthly meeting\, is Tuesday\, March 11\, at the Cannery Kitchen\, beginning with social time at 5:30pm\, dinner at 6pm\, and meeting with speaker at 6:30pm. \nThere is no charge to attend but if you would like to have dinner the cost is $20 for non-members or $15 for members and you will need you to RSVP to 979-451-9579 by text before Monday\, March 10. \nOur speaker will be Washington native\, Brad Tegeler. Brad moved back to Brenham in 2019 after working in the Texas Capitol where he served as Chief of Staff for several Members of the Texas House of Representatives and as a Deputy Chief of Staff/ Legislative Director to a Texas Senator. In 2022\, he was appointed by Governor Greg Abbot to serve as a Commissioner to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.  Tegeler will provide a high-level overview of the Texas Legislative process and the path a bill must travel to become a law. Additionally\, he will provide insights on how to have citizens voices heard effectively by those in the Texas Capitol.
